clear glass with a heavy outer coating of ocher and very dark purple
(almost black) colored frit. The form is flamboyant with
elaborate loops and brackets on the sides. The vase has a neat
button shaped pontil scar and is signed, "Gathering Glass '02" on the
bottom. |
